Hoboken bars - hoboken, NJ

Elysian Café

Its one of the longest running establishments in Hoboken since all the way back in 1895, where it also ran as a ice creams hop and barber shop through prohibition. The Elysian is completely smoke free. Their food menu is that of French bistro cuisine. It’s been renovated recently to some of it original aspects and details. It’s a great place to consistently get something good to drink or eat.  The atmosphere is very inviting. The wait staff is very nice and eager to serve you in a punctual manner.  Make sure you call ahead for a reservation because at times it can get a little busy. The bar area is small but nice and quaint. The prices are very affordable for the food and drinks, and the portions for the food are very grand, and will leave you tummy full.  In all, it’s a great place to catch a bite and a drink for lunch or dinner.
